Bill McAnally Racing and Andrew Murray joined forces to promote their sponsor NAPA AUTO PARTS in Tracy, California on September 12th 2008. Andrew drove the nine hours from his home in Temecula California and met up with the McAnally team to setup the promotion.

Bills team setup one of their team cars in the parking lot on the corner with Andrew setting up under 2 easy-ups closer to the store entrance. The #20 car from the Bill McAnally stable is in first place in the points in the NASCAR Camping World series, while Andrew Murray is 2nd in points in the National Stars of Karting series which attracts racers from all over the world, including Australia, South America and Europe.

The store gave away free hot-dogs and soda for lunch to their customers, while Andrew signed autographs and gave away hats and T-Shirts. This was race weekend for Tracy, California as the second last race of the season was to be held Saturday night at Altamont Raceway, which is in Tracy.

One week later Andrew traveled back up to Northern California to work with Bill McAnally Racing for another promotion. This time it was at a Fuddruckers in Citrus Heights Friday September 19th , this promo was held during a car show with classic cars. During the promo Andrew walked around and handed out fliers to all people in attendance and talked to them about NAPA battery's.

Andrew also handed out signed posters and hats. All the kids were allowed to sit in Andrew's shifter car and have their photo taken, which is always a big hit with the parents.

At the airport on Andrews return flight that night, Andrew was asked for his autograph by the airline customer service representative, and then with only 25 people getting on the plane, half watch NASCAR and also wanted Andrews autograph. It was a great ending to an awesome two weeks of promotions.
